(1) For class on Thursday, do derivations showing how the two orderings of Tone Lowering and Tone Raising work for the /ku+kí+tú+bal+il+a/ 'count it for us' and /ku+kí+tú+bál+il+a/ 'kick it for us', assuming rule iteration from the back of the word and rule iteration from the front of the rule.

(2) For before class on next Tuesday, the homework assignment to be turned in is exercises 4-5 at the end of chapter 5.
